Daniel Negreanu is one of the most prolific Poker players of all time, with four world series of poker bracelets under his belt and winnings of over $12,427,047, it's easy to see why. 
 
Born in Romania,  but later moving to Toronto Canada, when his parents re-located there. He first got involved in poker at the age of 15 when he had dreams of becoming a professional snooker player. However the game took hold of him, and he could frequently be found playing illegal games throughout the country. At the age of 22, he dropped out of high-school and left for the bright lights of Vegas, unfortunately resulting in him losing his bankroll and having to move back home to build it up again. 
 
But his persistence paid off and aged 23 he became the youngest ever person at the time to win a World Series Of Poker bracelet - a title he held until 2004. And he has over 42 cashes in The WSOP, the largest being $169,460 in 1998,  $100,000 in 2003, $169,100 in 2004 and over $200,000 in 2008. he has also caused quite a storm in online poker, playing under the name of Kidpoker. His two biggest ever all time wins are when he took home $1,117,400 at the WPT Borgata Poker Open 2004 and $1,770,218 WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic. Negreanu is definitely a huge poker celebrity and has appeared in several films as a poker player, including X-man and The Grand. He is a keen writer and has written numerous articles for the popular card player magazine and wrote an excerpt for the new revised edition of the Super system by Doyle Brunson. 
 
Negreanu is now placed at No.1 on the all time poker player money list his consistent wins and unique style of play make him a force to be reckoned with and perhaps one of the greatest poker players that ever lived.
