Jamie Gold - American Jamie Gold split his time between being a top Hollywood talent agent and producer and a successful poker player. His Mother was a keen poker player and his grandfather played gin rummy. But Gold was first introduced into the world of poker when his production company was involved in the making of  a television show involving previous World Series of Poker Main event winners - Johnny Chan and Chris Moneymaker.  Chan started coaching Gold,  giving him vital tips and tricks that surely played a big part in his infamous 2006 win.

Ranking Number 1 on the all time player money list until only recently being overtaken by Daniel Negreanu,  Gold's winnings total $ 12,198,041. He is most famous for winning the World Series of Poker main event in 2006, where he knocked out 7 out of 8 players on the final table and  beat off over 8000 players in total netting himself $12,000,000. Other winnings include $54,673 in the European Poker Tour, where he came 35th.  As well as taking $54,225 home from tournament at the bicycle casino.

Jamie is well known for his overly vocal style of play, he is very talkative at the table trying to draw out clues and pick up tells from other opponents. He is also an aggressive player, not scared to bet in large amounts whilst keeping a cool composure and face of steel. Gold had a two year sponsorship deal with Bodog, which was terminated by them due to 'cutting advertising costs'.  He is almost always wearing head to toe black, complete with a black baseball cap.

 Gold's future looks bright, as he continues to divide his time between working in show-business, whilst constantly developing his game play. All these qualities make Jamie Gold a very dangerous player to face indeed.
