Personal Review - After signing up for PokerStars and quickly logging in to get some action, my first impression I was not impressed with Poker Star. Table layout was confussing, betting was to fast for me and the graphics were terrible with a sort of divinci style background. My first game was No-limit Texas Holdem $1 + $0.20 with blinds $10/$20 with 25 seconds for act and a 60 second time bank. Prize money for this table of 9 players was 1st place $4.50, 2nd place $2.70 and 3rd place $1.80. Quickly to lose due to the number of hands I was dealt 8,2 8,3 and return to the lobby and change all the default setting to the way I like to player. The more I change the more impressed I was with Poker Stars. An excellent table resize option for playing multiable tables, upload your own poker image as your poker face, upload your own background. An handy option to swithch player seat which I've noticed other poker rooms are missing. With a bet range from $0.01/$0.02 to $1,000/$2,000 and with my first log-in showing 181,171 players spread over 27,946 tables shows why PokerStars in the largest poker room in the world. With Pokerstar commision varys depending on the type of poker game, the number of players, and the speed of the game. Players player $1 sit and go tournaments with pay $0.20 playing a table of 9, $0.15 playing double or nothing and $0.10 for a turbo double.
