passive - a player who normally calls or checks

play the board - when a player uses all the cards on board to make his hand

pocket cards - the two card dealt facedown to each player, hole cards

pocket pair - if a player has two cards of the same value in there hole cards or pocket cards

poker face - a facial expression given by a player which does not reveal the strength of his hand

position

position bet - when a player makes a bet knowing his position on the table is good

post - to post a blind in a game like texas holdem poker

pot - the amount in which all players have bet and blinds enter for the winning of the poker hand to take

pot limit - pot limit poker is when the maximum bet or raise allowed is the total amount in the pot

preflop - bets made before any community cards have been dealt

prode bet - a bet made after the flop by a player who did not make the first bet in the previous round of betting

push - when a player places all his chips in the pot.. going all in

put on - having an idea of what cards a player hold by judging there play and bets
