Poker Tells

A tell in a game of poker is when a player makes a change in personality weather it be facial expression, playing with the chips, lighting a cigarette, throwing the chips into the pot or a simple glance or his or your chip stack plus many more. Poker players also known to make false tells to give you a false impression of what cards he might be holding. In most cases when it comes to poker tells "weak means strong" and "strong means weak. If any player is acting over confindant about winning the pot usually can mean this player is bluffing and has a weak hand. Sign of this would be throwing the chips aggressively into the pot or trying to stare down the opponent, in a bid to try and make a player fold. If a player is being to nice at the poker table, nice convertsation, shaking hands, cheerful and trying to make a nice friendly game so you call in strong hand. Things to watch is when the flop, turn or river has been dealt a player rechecking his cards, looking at the size of the pot, check his chip stack, or the easiest of all a blushing face with a little smile. It is very difficult for professional to catch one another poker tells but when playing home games with friends, with a little time and concerntration players reactions to cards can be spoting leting you known the streght of there hands.
